Prayer For 147 Killed in Garissa by Al Shabaab

Dear God, Our Father Who Hath in Heaven, I call upon you this moment in time that our nation is mourning for over 147  fellow citizens who lost their lives in a deadliest terrorist attack, Kenyans that were shaping their lives and their future through education in Garissa University – to continue the nation building.

Their Souls to Rest In Peace.

RIP

Almighty God, I pray that you may comfort hearts of all the affected during this time of sorrow. Our nation is bathing in tears and I’m down on my knees calling upon your Mighty Hand to protect us.

I pray in Jesus name for peace love and unity in my country Kenya. Provide them with every desire of their hearts who lost their loved ones, relatives, friends and colleagues.

God, I declare now henceforth that NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US WILL PROSPER.

May your Holy Spirit cover our nation that no single bullet, no single grenade or bomb will break through to take a life of any of us.

Please God, touch the lives of our President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and his deputy William Samoei Ruto to be able to run the government of Kenya effectively and strengthen our weak security docket.

Father, transform all our leaders to lead and govern responsibly and be accountable. Let them end corruption  and individualism, and, Oh Lord, let love prevail amongst ourselves: Christians, Muslims, Hindus… for the prosperity of our great nation.

It is in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ that I pray, trust and believe… AMEN.
